Q: How do I know what I can afford?

A: We recommend talking to a mortgage lender who can help you determine the price range you can afford based on your income and other qualifications.

Q: What are my costs as a buyer?

A: Buyers do not typically pay Realtor fees, but they are generally responsible for costs such as home inspections, additional testing recommended by their agent, the appraisal, and buyer’s closing costs unless negotiated otherwise.

Q: Where do I view the homes available for sale?

A: Once you discuss with your agent the features you want in a home, we will send you available homes within that criteria the instant they hit the market, so you can decide whether you want to view the home in person and move ahead to writing an offer.

Q: What is the process after I find the home I want?

A: We’ll work closely with you to draft an offer for the home seller and assist you with negotiations such as repairs recommended by the home inspector. We’ll communicate often with your lender to ensure all the paperwork is ready for closing, so all you have to do is move in.
